अहो बत महत्पापं कर्तुं व्यवसिता वयम्। यद्राज्यसुखलोभेन हन्तुं स्वजनमुद्यताः।।1.45।।
aho bata mahatpāpaṃ kartuṃ vyavasitā vayam. yadrājyasukhalobhena hantuṃ svajanamudyatāḥ৷৷1.45৷৷

Commentary
Alas! we are engaged in committing a heinous sin, seeing that we are making efforts for killing our own kinsmen out of greed of the pleasures of sovereignty.
