Chapter 1, Verse 46

यदि मामप्रतीकारमशस्त्रं शस्त्रपाणयः। धार्तराष्ट्रा रणे हन्युस्तन्मे क्षेमतरं भवेत्।।1.46।।

yadi māmapratīkāramaśastraṃ śastrapāṇayaḥ. dhārtarāṣṭrā raṇe hanyustanme kṣemataraṃ bhavet.।1.46.।

Commentary

If the sons of Dhritarashtra, weapon in hand, should kill me in battle, me weaponless and not defending (myself), that would be better for me. Sanjaya said:
