सञ्जय उवाच एवमुक्त्वाऽर्जुनः संख्ये रथोपस्थ उपाविशत्। विसृज्य सशरं चापं शोकसंविग्नमानसः।।1.47।।
sañjaya uvāca evamuktvā'rjunaḥ saṃkhye rathopastha upāviśat| visṛjya saśaraṃ cāpaṃ śokasaṃvignamānasaḥ||1.47||

Having spoken thus, Arguna cast aside his bow together with the arrows, on the battle-field, and sat down in (his) chariot, with a mind agitated by grief.
